Our fellowships, essay contests, symposia, research initiatives, resources, podcasts, videos, and journal promote social and emotional learning, culturally responsive mentoring, and humane understanding, We read Homer to Alzheimer’s patients, retell Greek myths to Pre-K students, and bring Classics into global dialogue with other cultures, past and present. With our partners and peers we mentor first-generation college and low-income students and open pathways for knowledge-exchange with publics beyond the classroom, serving communities underserved by traditional academic Classics.
