Old North Information

Old North Clothing was a beloved Asheville-based apparel store that celebrated quality craftsmanship and curated selections over mass production. Founded in 2012 by Jack Roche, the shop became a local haven for denim enthusiasts and those drawn to niche, durable brands. Situated in the heart of Asheville, Old North specialized in hard-to-find Japanese denim and other high-quality, globally sourced garments, offering a unique contrast to the area’s more casual, outdoor-centric apparel. Although it has since closed, Old North remains fondly remembered for its neighborhood appeal and commitment to quality over quantity. Old North closed its doors in March of 2020.
