Okanogan County Electric Cooperative serves the Methow Valley towns of Winthrop, Mazama, Twisp and surrounding areas. Located in the North Cascade Mountains, this isolated valley is an extremely scenic recreational area with a strong sense of place. The valley's rivers unify the landscape while the surrounding mountains and terraces define it. Deep winter snows add to the challenge of serving this rural area. Our mission is to provide reliable energy and services at the lowest long-term cost and to enhance the quality of life in our community. We maintain a revolving loan fund to assist with economic development and community projects.
