Founded by designer and artisan quilter Patricia Belyea, Okan Arts imports vintage Japanese textiles and delivers remarkable learning experiences. Patricia speaks to quilting groups around the world and teaches workshops that push quilters’ creative buttons. Patricia’s new book, East-Meets-West Quilts, is slated to release in October 2017 (Abrams NYC). Okan Arts specializes in vintage yukata cottons. Currently the company has the largest collection of hand-dyed yukata cottons outside Japan. The fabrics are available at the Okan Arts Shop in Seattle and online at okanarts.com/shop.
