Ojas Art Information

Ojas is a Sanskrit word for vitality, energy and the force that gives life its strength. Based in New Delhi, Ojas Art works with artists whose practices are rooted in the Indigenous traditions of India. Through exhibitions, publications and research, we create space for these practices to be encountered in their own complexity and to be understood as living, evolving forms of artistic expression. Our work grows through long term relationships with artists and communities, and through listening closely to the stories, knowledge and ways of seeing that shape their practices. We are interested in how these voices enter wider conversations around Indian art, carrying their histories and knowledge into the present while continuing to evolve. Ojas Art is headed by Anubhav Nath.
