With over 240 years of tradition and historical significance, Mappin & Webb is renowned for combining timeless craftsmanship with superior quality and contemporary design. We are the purveyors of the finest jewellery, watches, glassware, silverware and luxury lifestyle accessories. It’s a story that began in 1775, when Jonathan Mappin opened a silver workshop in Sheffield, before being given the Freedom of the ‘Cutlers Company of Hallamshire’ in 1780, to provide jurisdiction over local makers and promote the city as a place of expertise. Over the years that followed, the company continued to expand. Receiving Royal Warrants, commissions from monarchs around the world, and proudly becoming the home of The Crown Jeweller. It’s this quintessentially British, regal, enduring heritage that has made Mappin & Webb synonymous with quality, care and expertise, all of which remain at the heart of who we are today. Mappin & Webb also has a well-established online presence and ecommerce platform with mappinandwebb.com
