offshoretraining.com - part of Double Plus Software Ltd - is based in Guernsey in the Channel Islands situated near the coast of France. The islands have a highly developed offshore finance community with representative branches of many international bank, accountancy and legal firms. We have supplied technology based training here and to other offshore centres since 1992, selling third-party products and developing our own unique specialist software. We specialize in finance, IT, management and business language training. We can develop your own in-house training courses to the highest standards using our extensive experience and state-of-the-art authoring software, design team and video facility. If you have an e-learning project for in banking, AML, funds, insurance, trust and company administration then we can help - from writing a technical proposal document, developing bespoke content or sourcing specialist skills or content from partner companies we have worked with. We have covered everything from plumbing and heating to dealing room systems. The company is owned by Adrian Bott, who has been involved with training since 1987 and developed some of the first computer based training software in the UK used by trainee professional accountants (ICAEW, ACCA and CIMA). Adrian has a degree in Modern Languages from Oxford University, experience in publishing (traditional and electronic) and is a founder director of IntraLearn (Europe) Ltd , the top-level EMEA distributor for a major US vendor of learning management systems ("LMS") and UK-based Traineasy Ltd , an e-learning consultancy, software vendor and content developer.
