Atlas Professionals and Programmed Marine have decided to form a 50/50 joint venture (JV) for the Australian & New Zealand marine manning services markets. The JV will benefit from the opportunities that Atlas, with 23 offices in 16 countries, brings to ANZ and operates under the name Atlas Professionals. Atlas Professionals provide borderless personnel and logistics solutions to the global marine, energy and resources sectors. Formed following the acquisition of the SKILLED Group by Programmed, in October 2015, the new Atlas Programmed Marine JV brings together over 100 years of experience from Programmed Marine (previously Total Marine Services) and SKILLED Offshore (previously Offshore Marine Services) into a stronger, better business, that is able to leverage off our Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listed parent company, Programmed. We set ourselves high performance targets at Atlas, in particular when it comes to the safety and the well-being of our people, our goal is to achieve Zero Harm across all our operations.
