Off Da Beaten Path Learning Information

Off Da Beaten Path Learning is a 1-on-1 education service, where learners meet regularly with an educator to progress toward their own definition of success. Our personalized approach is rooted in: Self-directed education, Culturally responsive pedagogy, Inclusion, Anti-racism, Trauma-informed practice, Social & emotional learning, Humor, Play-based education, Place-based education, and Community education. We work with homeschool learners, serve as additional guidance for young ones attending school, and also empower those working toward school. Dominique Paloma Bible, M.A., Founder & Educator, has over ten years of education experience with learners of a variety of ages and in a variety of settings. Dom believes that everyone is a genius, and that it is the educator’s responsibility is to observe, nurture, and empower the genius already there. They have worked with hundreds of young people and plan to work with thousands more. Off Da Beaten Path Learning was born out of love and necessity in 2020. When a couple of former students reached out in need, Dom responded with 1-on-1 learning advising and mentorship. ODBP has since taken on new learners and continues to grow.
