The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts, located on 17 acres overlooking the Potomac River in Washington, D.C., is America's living memorial to President Kennedy as well as the nation's busiest arts facility. The Center, which opened on September 8, 1971, continues its efforts to fulfill President Kennedy's vision by producing and presenting an unmatched variety of theater and musicals, dance and ballet, orchestral, chamber, jazz, popular, world, and folk music, and multimedia performances for all ages.

Lyric Opera of Chicago, founded in 1954, is one of the world's greatest opera companies. It is renowned internationally for its artistic excellence and financial strength. Over the past two decades the company has achieved unparalleled success in its ticket sales, averaging 100% attendance from 1988-2002. Lyric Opera is also distinguished for having operated in the black for 20 of the past 21 years.

Since 1975, Opera Philadelphia has been Philadelphia’s professional opera company, performing at the historic Academy of Music, the Kimmel Center’s contemporary and intimate Perelman Theater, and across the city during our Festival O, which launched in 2017. The Opera strives to deliver outstanding productions of both traditional and exciting new works that resonate with the community; to identify, cultivate, and cast rising young talent alongside internationally-acclaimed singers; and to present innovative programs that educate, broaden, deepen, and diversify the opera audience, both in Philadelphia and beyond.
