Odeiwin is an Indigenous-led not-for-profit organization building on an ecosystem of partnerships providing vital programs and services in York Region and across Southwestern Ontario. Our programs provide First Nations, Inuit, Metis and Non-Status community members with job-specific skills training, higher education pathways, and employment support programs while ensuring a continued connection to our Indigenous community and culture. Key programs: Odeiwin: Connect We create safe spaces for Elders, knowledge keepers, and the community to share, listen, learn, and heal together. We provide experiential workshops that help to improve our community's sense of belonging, connection to culture, and overall well-being while providing pathways to truth and reconciliation. Odeiwin: Learn An ecosystem of partnerships that provide innovative skills training and support programs that help prepare Indigenous learners for higher education and rewarding employment pathways. Odeiwin: Lead An ecosystem of partnerships that provide leadership training, coaching, mentorship and mental health support for Indigenous community members in the Canadian workforce. Odeiwin is dedicated to creating partnerships and programs that will help close the education, employment, and socioeconomic gaps between the Indigenous and non-Indigenous populations in Canada.
