Our purpose is to make workplaces more joyful through service to others. Here is the tricky part: we haven't accomplished anything significant if we take on the burden of a client's work, and only the client has increased joy as a result. A zero-sum game won't do for us. While there may be reasons for other companies to operate this way, it wasn't what we wanted to do. We believed there was a way for us to take on the burdens of clients in a way that generated net-positive and increasing joy in both workplaces. We found a way to do it through our Alchemy of Service.
