It detects different classes of drugs, alcohol and fatigue.OculusID uses image capturing and processing technology to evaluate pupil response, to detect substance abuse, physiological defects as well as fatigue. When a subject is under the influence of alcohol or a narcotic, the pupil’s ability to react to light is affected. The rate of change of pupil dilation/constriction provides a set of data points which can be compared against predefined benchmarks to ascertain likelihood of impairment
