OculusID is a new Startup that has developed an application by means of a camera can detect physiological impairment in individuals through the pupil of the eye's response to light. It detects different classes of drugs, alcohol and fatigue.OculusID uses image capturing and processing technology to evaluate pupil response, to detect substance abuse, physiological defects as well as fatigue. When a subject is under the influence of alcohol or a narcotic, the pupil’s ability to react to light is affected. The rate of change of pupil dilation/constriction provides a set of data points which can be compared against predefined benchmarks to ascertain likelihood of impairment
