October Art Week Information

October Art Week is held yearly during the October/November Classic Art season. Pre-contemporary galleries on the Upper East Side hold simultenous gallery receptions, open to the public and comfortably walkable from one another, to expand upon the buzz and excitement generated by the opening of TEFAF NY FALL in New York City, and the fall auction calendar of Christie's Classic Art Week and Sotheby's private selling exhibitions and single owner sales concentrating on Old Masters and 19th Century Art.
