Supporting Excellence in the Builders Merchant Trade A cornerstone of Octabuild’s engagement with the sector is the Octabuild Builders Merchant Excellence Awards. Now firmly established as one of the most respected recognition programmes in the industry, the Awards celebrate excellence within the builders merchant trade, recognising businesses and individuals who are setting high standards in how they operate, serve customers, develop people and respond to a changing marketplace. Looking Ahead The next Octabuild Builders Merchant Excellence Awards will take place in 2026, with entries opening in February and the awards ceremony scheduled for 1st October in Dublin. Through this programme and its wider engagement with the sector, Octabuild remains committed to recognising leadership, encouraging best practice and celebrating the people and businesses shaping the future of the industry.
