Premier fournisseur de ciment et de produits connexes en Afrique australe, PPC possède 11 cimenteries en Afrique du Sud, au Botswana, en RDC, en Éthiopie, au Rwanda et au Zimbabwe. La capacité de PPC est d'environ onze millions et demi de tonnes de produits cimentiers chaque année. PPC Barnet DRC a été créée en février 2014 par le principal actionnaire PPC International Ltd, une Société de ciment basée en Afrique du Sud, conjointement avec Barnet Group de la RDC et la Société Financière Internationale (SFI). L’usine est située à environ 20km de Kimpese dans le village de Malanga à l’ouest de la RDC dans la province du Kongo Central afin d’assurer une meilleure accessibilité aux différents clients. Et est bien placée pour fournir ce matériel essentiel de construction aux clients dans les principaux marchés.
