Repton School is a co-educational independent day and boarding school for children aged 3 to 18 in the heart of England. From Nursery to Sixth Form, Repton encourages a conscious equilibrium in all things, encouraging pupils to adopt a healthy balance between their studies, sport, activities of all kinds and rest, so that they can emerge as rounded, multi-faceted individuals. Oakham School is a leading fully co-educational boarding and day school for 11–18 year olds offering A-levels and the IB. We are located in the heart of safe rural England, in the historic market town of Oakham, Rutland with excellent road and rail links to London, Birmingham and Cambridge. Archdeacon Robert Johnson founded the school in 1584. In 1971, Oakham was the first boys’ independent secondary school to accept girls, and this was at all ages, not just Sixth Form. We aim to offer the highest standards of teaching and learning, so that all pupils fulfil their academic potential. Our ambition is that our pupils not only perform well in their exams, but that they develop an intellectual curiosity that will cultivate a lifelong love of learning. Nottingham High School is an independent day school situated about a mile north of Nottingham city centre, with over a thousand pupils from ages 4 to 18. We are made up of a Senior School and Sixth Form, the adjoining Nottingham High Junior School and Lovell House Infant School. Founded in 1513, the school has a rich heritage with a proud and passionate community of alumni spread around the world. We are a co-educational school and have been welcoming girls into all year groups since September 2015. At Nottingham High School we have a well-deserved national reputation both for our academic success and for the high standards achieved in the wide range of activities we offer. We were named the Sunday Times East Midlands Independent Secondary School of the Year in 2019, and are listed in The Telegraph's "Ten of the best value private schools in the UK" list in January 2020.
