Organization for Community and Humanitarian Relief (OCHR) is a national humanitarian and development NGO established in Afghanistan in 2015. Our mission is to play a pivotal role in addressing humanitarian and developmental challenges while contributing to peacebuilding efforts, envisioning a future where all Afghans live in harmony and prosperity. In response to humanitarian crises arising from conflict or natural disasters, OCHR provides essential tools and resources to alleviate suffering and foster self-reliance. Our approach emphasizes sustainable development, particularly for Afghanistan's most vulnerable and marginalized communities, focusing on social and economic upliftment in remote and underserved regions. Through our peacebuilding initiatives, we aspire to cultivate a socially inclusive Afghanistan where peace and prosperity are accessible. Our efforts promote social cohesion, and counter-extremism in all its forms, and advocate for inclusive peace processes that amplify the voices of children, women, and marginalized groups.
