OceanQuest is committed to the mission of educating the public on the importance of global marine conservation. OceanQuest now provides programming on-land and at-sea to more than 10,000 students, teachers and families each year. This is great news for the future of our oceans! Shore based programs are vital in reaching those who are unable to participate at-sea. A quote comes to mind when OceanQuest enters the classroom or field, "the important thing in science is not so much to obtain new facts, as to discover new ways of thinking about them.
