Ocean-Tec Systems Ltd Information

Ocean-Tec Systems (OTS) were established in 2006 offering Offshore Survey Consultancy and Client Representation to the Offshore Construction and Cable Installation markets. Since then OTS personnel have been working on projects in Angola, Namibia, Netherlands, Germany, Norway and North Sea for end clients such as Sonsub/Saipem, Oceanteam Power & Umbilical, DOF Subsea, Marine Project Developments International, Tideway, GEO Consult, Global Marine Systems, Seabed Power, VSMC, MSS Spa, Deep Ocean, GEO Century, Britannia Operator, Maclay Murray & Spens, Baker Oiltools, Makai Ocean Engineering and GOSS Consultants. During 2007 OTS were appointed as the authorised agents for the Makai suite of cable planning and installation software. OTS are able to offer their Clients route engineering services by in house Makai certified engineers. OTS also have their own Makai trainers who, in conjunction with Makai in Hawaii, conduct training courses in the UK certified by Makai. During 2013 Ocean-Tec extended their workscope to include project engineering, including concept design, supporting calulations, engineering reports, and management of Class approvals processes and third party verifications. During 2014 Ocean-Tec bought out their JV Partner within Subsea Renewables, making it a 100% owned subsidiary of Ocean-Tec.
