Ocean Revive Information

Ocean Revive is an Irish owned company. It is a joint venture of two Irish businesses (OceanЯ and Novalplast) that share a common mission: To help clean Irelands oceans and neighbouring seas of discarded fishing nets and gear. The goal is to set up a collection point in each of the 12 main fishing ports around Ireland. For the first time ever fishermen will be able to retire their end of life gear confidently, knowing that it will be recycled responsibly. These nets will then be sorted, washed, shredded and transformed into highly recyclable and durable raw materials. To track this system we have partnered with Verifact who use Blockchain technology to track these nets from fisherman right through to the final process.
