Ocean Media Private Limited, an ISO 9001:2008 certified company was established in 2007 to diversify the business activities in the tele-media and other verticals. Ocean Media tied-up with various national and international TV networks for their educational programmes. Starting with CIET, a division of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, government of India, New Delhi to distribute their educational audio and video programmes across India. Later Ocean Media tied-up with the top international National Geographic Channel to market their bi-lingual video programmes in India, which was a great success. A world-class monthly magazine Defence and Security Alert (DSA) was launched by Ocean Media in October 2009 which has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification in August 2011 which is a matter of great honour as DSA is the first and the only ISO certified defence and security magazine in India. DSA is committed to maintain the highest international quality standards be it in the content or its presentation to disseminate meaningful views of distinguished subject experts in the defence and security arena related to India and developing scenarios internationally.
