Obsidian Studio Information

Obsidian is a creative studio and R&D company founded by Wes Walker and Louis Gheysens, building technology for the next era of storytelling. We merge AI, CGI, and live-action production through proprietary, artist-led systems that enable directors and creatives to work faster, clearer, and with greater emotional precision. We partner with leading entertainment studios, global brands, and agencies to deliver world-class storytelling that fuses cinematic craft with technological innovation. Our toolsets, DigitalForge and EchoChrome, combine neural workflows, secure datasets, and on-set collaboration tools that redefine how creative teams operate. In partnership with Imagine Entertainment, Ron Howard & Brian Grazer, Obsidian is pioneering new methods of cinematic storytelling, blending art and innovation while uplifting the human spirit. Our mission: keep artists in command, keep emotion at the center, and build technology that expands imagination itself.
