Objectif Sciences International Information

Objectif Sciences International (OSI), founded in 1992, is an NGO with Special Consultative Status to the UN ECOSOC since 2011. It designs and coordinates participatory research programmes enabling citizens of all ages to contribute to scientific projects while developing SDGs solutions, new knowledges, skills and critical thinking. Its activities cover biodiversity, climate, water, oceans, geology, astronomy, drones, chemistry, physics, digital science, social sciences... supporting the SDGs and related public policies. OSI also convenes the Geneva Forum, an international platform created in 2001 to connect international organizations, NGOs, governments, academia, foundations, mission-driven companies and financial institutions around scalable impact projects. Through project design, consortium building, impact finance and field implementation, OSI helps turn scientific and societal needs into operational partnerships, research programmes and financeable impact initiatives developed from Geneva and deployed internationally.
