OJSC “Optima Bank” was founded on May 7, 1992. Originally it was called Kyrgyz Commercial Bank for Business Support “Kyrgyzmelbiznesbank”. In 1993 the bank was renamed the Kyrgyz Commercial Bank for Reconstruction and Development of Energy “Kyrgyzenergobank”. In June 2001, “Kyrgyzenergobank” was renamed “Energobank”. On December 14, 2006, the Bank was renamed ATF Bank – Kyrgyzstan at the Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting.
