Oasis India Information

Oasis India began its work in Mumbai in 1993 and has been established as a registered society since 1994 under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 (Karnataka Act No.17 of 1960) bearing Regn. No. S 690-94-95. Oasis India exists to make India better for women and children and do that by preventing human trafficking and other forms of violence against women and children while assisting each person to flourish in the context of their community. Over the last 30 years, Oasis India has grown and has projects in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Manipur, Assam, and Meghalaya. Our core work areas are Prevention, Education, Sports, Rehabilitation, Skilling, Community Empowerment, Disaster Risk Reduction Climate Change Adaptation, and emergency response.
