Oakmasters Information

Oakmasters designs and manufactures some of the UK’s most distinctive structural oak frames - from complex roof structures and feature trusses to complete oak-framed homes, extensions and commercial buildings. At the heart of our workshop is a CNC machine capable of machining green oak sections up to 350 × 450mm. It’s where modern CNC technology meets traditional carpentry: large-scale timber, complex geometry, precision machining and skilled hand-finishing all under one roof. Our team works with projects from CAD/CAM files and raw green oak through to finished frames ready for assembly on site. No two jobs are quite the same, and the work ranges from straightforward structural components to highly complex bespoke frames. For CNC operators and carpenters, Oakmasters offers the chance to work with serious machinery, substantial pieces of timber and genuinely interesting projects, while developing skills that sit somewhere between advanced manufacturing and traditional timber framing. We’re a relatively small team, so good people matter.
