Oakland’s Construction was established in 2010 to deliver groundwork’s and civil engineering packages to the Industrial, Retail, extra care, health and education sectors. We believe that all construction can be carried out with a sustainable methodology. We strive to minimise the effects of our activities to the ecosystem and seek to improve the environment for the communities we work within. Oakland’s Construction is proud to hold a 100% health and safety record, safe contractor status and CHAS accreditation with capabilities to deliver projects of up to £3.5m From conception we believed it important to set up a small contractor with a large contractor’s mentality and approach. This has allowed our business to grow with a solid foundation based on tried and tested working practices and policies. Our management systems, ethos and working practices are cascaded throughout the business aimed at delivering consistently great results across all of our sites. Oakland’s engage with our workforce at every level. We believe individual personal development, loyalty and commitment to excellence have been key elements to retaining and developing our team. In early 2011 Oakland’s has achieved CHAS, Safe Contractor and construction line accreditation. He have commenced working towards ISO9001 and ISO14001 and have developed a quality and environmental system.
