The East Carolina University Division of Health Sciences prepares diverse, compassionate health care professionals devoted to serving and improving the health of North Carolinians. While distinctive in practice, the Brody School of Medicine, College of Allied Health Sciences, College of Nursing and School of Dental Medicine are connected in purpose and vision. North Carolina demands dynamic medical, dental, nursing and allied health professionals who can work together to meet challenges presented by an ever-changing health care landscape. Our unique, service-based curricula strives to address these emerging needs by supporting integrated and interdisciplinary education, research and clinical on-campus and statewide programs that train students in the rural, primary care and underserved patient settings that need them the most. Portland State University’s College of Education is the largest and most comprehensive school of education in Oregon. Each year we help prospective P-20 educators and counselors learn the skills and develop the tools to educate and counsel others, and we provide current educators and counselors with the knowledge to advance their career and further hone their talents.
