Oakland Enrolls works to empower Oakland families to make informed choices about their public school options and make the process of selecting and enrolling in a public school easy, efficient and equitable. We are Oaklanders, educators, school leaders, administrators, parents, and future parents who want all children in our city to have a school that nurtures them to achieve their full potential. We know that when it comes to schools, “one size does not fit all,” and we believe that all parents and guardians have the right to choose the best public school for their child’s needs. We also believe that enrolling in public schools should not be confusing or complicated - it should be empowering and equitable. We created Oakland Enrolls to streamline the process so all Oakland families can be informed and participate.
