Jacob Milder, Certified Financial Planner™ and managing member of Oak Street Investments, has spent 15 years in financial services working with hundreds of financial advisors and their clients to help them build stronger relationships and better portfolios. He's seen the many ways the client-advisor relationship can be improved and has built a firm dedicated to doing just that- providing a less conflicted, more transparent and better overall client experience. He's passionate about financial services and financial literacy. Jacob earned the right to use the CFP® marks in 2011 and as a student of the industry, has continued to develop his understanding of planning and investments ever since. Jacob grew up in St. Louis, in a family that placed great value on hard work and continued education. Many years ago as a Junior at Washington University in St. Louis, a finance course sparked his curiosity and a deep passion for investments and personal finance. After graduation, he began working for a Registered Investment Advisor in St. Louis before moving to Colorado in 2005 for his wife to attend graduate school. Today, Jacob lives in Suburban Denver with his wife Julie, a scientist, two daughters and two lazy adopted dogs. When he's not working, you can find him spending time with family, his fantastic group of friends, laughing, reading financial and political publications, refining his knowledge of automobiles, double-faulting in tennis, searching for golf balls in the rough, erasing crossword puzzle answers and fervently trying to locate the best cup of coffee in Denver!
