Oak Hill Collaborative Information

The Oak Hill Collaborative has grown out of the social justice and community improvement activities of members of St. Patrick Church on Oak Hill Avenue in Youngstown. Since opening in early 2014, the Oak Hill Collaborative’s business incubator has assisted more than a dozen small business with services including office space, business planning, grant writing and networking to grow their ideas into viable and thriving businesses that enhance our local economy. The Oak Hill MakerSpace provides our collaborators and neighborhood residents free access to a wide array of equipment and tools including cutting edge 3D printers and computers, as well as wood working equipment, assorted hand tools, air compressors, and more. The Oak Hill Collaborative’s location on Youngstown’s South Side near downtown has made it an ideal meeting location for civic and community groups to organize activities to benefit and revitalize the area. We have strong partnerships with many organizations and block watches including ACTION, Common Wealth Inc., 4 Square Block Watch, Friends of the Mahoning River, Mahoning Valley Organizing Collaborative (MVOC), Needle’s Eye Christian Counseling Center, POGO Block WatchSt. Patrick’s Parish, United Returning Citizens, Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corp. and more.
