Fletcher Building has proudly called New Zealand home since 1909, and today, we employ more than 9000 people across New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific. Our operations span the manufacture and distribution of building products across Australia and New Zealand, from insulation that helps keep homes warm and dry to cement, a fundamental building block of structures around the world. We also operate retail businesses that supply these products, and many more, to tradespeople across the Tasman. Beyond products and distribution, we build homes, create communities, improve productivity and contribute to the quality of life of people living and working in cities and regions across our markets. Fletcher Building is dual listed on the NZX and ASX and operates through four divisions – Light Building Products, Heavy Building Materials, Distribution, and Residential and Development. Our business has grown exponentially since 1980: from a small facility in Bayswater to multiple showrooms across the country, and over 650 expert staff throughout Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia. In that time, we’ve changed and evolved, but our goals remain constant: striving to understand the needs of our customers, being involved in and understanding their businesses, and exceeding their expectations. Today, we’re one of the largest residential window manufacturers in Australia.

Metro Performance Glass (MPG) is one of Australasia’s leading glass suppliers and has been in operation for more than 30 years. MPG operates from more than 15 sites in New Zealand and Australia, including two NZ and three Australian manufacturing sites that and are responsible for producing a range of customised glass products that are predominantly used in residential and non-residential construction applications such as windows, doors, internal partitions, balustrades, showers, mirrors, furniture and splashbacks. During our 30 years in operation, we have set operational, product and safety benchmarks in the glass industry. The company currently employs approximately 900 employees across NZ and Australia in a wide variety of roles including operations, glazing, commercial, sales, driving, manufacturing, engineering and support services.
