Founded by James Beury, MBA, and Camille St. James, PsyD, NxtStep Network is a digital community of mental and behavioral healthcare providers designed to increase access and improve patient outcomes. Our mission is to create a seamless digital network to address critical gaps in the current referral process, empowering providers to collaborate, share insights, and refer patients efficiently and effectively in an independent, self-governed network. Analyzing the spectrum of mental and behavioral healthcare providers reinforces the need for NxtStep. Care providers and facilities that treat mental health and/or provide therapeutic and counseling services have no facility to interact directly with one another. Targeting providers in southeastern Pennsylvania who encounter patients with substance-use disorder (SUD), NxtStep Network facilitates digital connections to improve accuracy, increase speed, and reduce costs. Leveraging blockchain technology, the platform features unique governance principles to provide equity, fairness, and transparency, delivering scalability for expansion to the broader community of providers nationwide.
