NV Rides Information

NV Rides is a network of service providers aiming to enhance and improve volunteer driving programs throughout Northern Virginia. This community-wide initiative aims to serve more non-driving older adults so that they can get where they need to go. Having accessible and dependable transportation readily available will help our community’s older adults remain independent, and ensure that they can age in place for as long as possible. In partnership with Fairfax County and Jewish Council for the Aging, the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia (JCCNV) is administering NV Rides by using a coordinated hub approach, and will serve as a model of practices for effective transportation solutions, and meaningful volunteer engagement for other communities to follow.
