Numaco was founded in 1980 in Zurich as a private stock company. The aim and purpose was to distribute mobile data acquisition devices of the US manufacturer Telxon in Switzerland. Maintaining the equipment and systems in operation was a key part of the business. The founders of the company were less interested in the company's growth than in creating a creative work envi-ronment in which the employees could develop themselves and let their dreams come true.
