NullRabbit builds autonomous defensive systems for critical infrastructure. Open source to the core. The problem is simple: attackers operate at machine speed, defenders operate at human speed. For novel threats - zero-days, behavioural anomalies, abuse patterns that fall outside existing signatures - the attack completes before any human can approve a response. We close that gap with kernel-level observation and enforcement (XDP/eBPF), behavioural learning on live traffic, and a governance framework called earned autonomy. The system earns the right to defend your infrastructure by proving its judgment on your traffic first. No vendor-asserted trust. No black box. Shadow mode, counterfactual records, explicit thresholds - enforcement only follows demonstrated competence. Our research found ~40% of validators across major blockchain networks are running exploitable services their operators don't know exist. We started there because the consequences are immediate - slashing penalties, billions in stake at risk - but the approach applies anywhere humans are too slow and the stakes are too high.
