In February 2013, NTEC's small consulting team, specialising in simulation of hydrological processes and environmental impact assessment, joined CDM Smith, a leading global consulting, engineering, construction, and operations firm that delivers integrated solutions in water, environment, transportation, energy and facilities. While operating as NTEC Environmental Technology, with up to 11 staff in mid 2012, we: * provided consulting services to industry and Government, both directly and in association with other consultants * sold and provided local support for software used in environmental and water engineering * offered personalised training in groundwater, hydraulic and environmental modelling * conducted reviews and audits of simulation models and reports prepared by others * shared resources for the benefit of others We worked mainly with the mining and water industries, specialising in simulation for design and environmental impact assessment. Our point of difference was the depth of our experience in environmental science and engineering, including field studies, software development and application of models to real situations.
