On the pitch, Whitecaps FC is steeped in North American history, dating back to 1974. After finally making the jump to MLS in 2011, our club has found success year over year. Breaking club point records every season, continuing the tradition of lifting the Cascadia Cup, winning our first-ever Canadian Championship, and finally bringing the MLS Cup playoffs to BC Place.
Behind the white line, our award-winning organization sets the standard by exemplifying excellence in all areas. Along with owning the best sporting atmosphere in Vancouver, our primary focus is set on the club, the community, and the development of soccer throughout the country.

Canada Soccer is the official governing body for soccer in Canada.
In partnership with its members, Canada Soccer promotes the growth and development of soccer in Canada, from grassroots to high performance, and on a national scale.
There are nearly 1,000,000 registered Canada Soccer active participants in Canada within 1,500 clubs that operate in 13 provincial/territorial member associations.

Ontario Soccer was founded in 1901 and is one of the oldest and largest sport organizations in Canada dedicated to providing an opportunity for Ontarians to achieve their sporting goals through soccer. Ontario Soccer provides leadership, consultation and resources to the members within the framework of achieving the overall mission of Ontario Soccer. Ontario Soccer currently has more than 500,000 registered participants and provides development opportunities for players, coaches, referees, and administrators.
Ontario Soccer has its headquarters at The Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan. Ontario Soccer has 21 member District Associations (“Districts”). Each of these Districts has many Clubs as member organizations and there are approximately 900 Clubs province-wide. Leagues are also member organizations and can appear at any level of the organizations hierarchy.
