Precision Since 1972 🔧 N&R Needham was founded by Neville Needham, with support from his brother and father, in a small Chesterfield workshop. What began with hard work and a handful of machines has grown into a multi-generation precision engineering company rooted in innovation, quality, and craftsmanship. From the move to purpose-built premises in Clay Cross in 1977 to continuous investment in cutting-edge CNC technology throughout the '80s, '90s and beyond, we've always looked forward — expanding our capabilities, our site, and our team. Today, under the leadership of Neville’s son Joe, we operate from our advanced facility with a highly skilled workforce and a growing suite of precision machinery — including a 3m 5-axis Mazak centre — delivering high-quality components to customers across the UK. We take pride in pushing boundaries in CNC machining, combining decades of experience with a modern, solutions-focused approach.
