NPS MedicineWise helps people to make better decisions about medicines and medical tests, leading to better health outcomes. We enable health professionals to keep up to date with the latest evidence and provide individuals with the tools and knowledge to make better decisions. Globally recognised for our work in quality use of medicines, we believe individuals are gatekeepers of their health decisions. Everyone is entitled to impartial information that enables them to navigate their choices and get the most from their health professionals. We are for a medicinewise Australia. We want best practice decision-making to be well understood, embedded in health systems and put into action every day. We want all Australians to be medicinewise and experience the health and economic benefits this brings. NPS Medicinewise information, resources and tools are evidence-based and impartial and developed in conjunction with expert advisory groups and our extensive networks across the health sector. We also publish the journal Australian Prescriber an independent review of medicines & therapeutics. We are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health.
