NPS Labs (New Product Support Labs) is a new professional High Tech business established to provide services for New Product Introduction. Specializing in BGA rework, reballing, PCBA rework, modifications and Repair, 2D-X-Ray, Fault Analysis, Manufacturability Reviews and Project Management Support. Our initial Lab was situated in the middle of the Ottawa High Tech community at 349 Terry Fox Drive (TCC Canada Building beside Alcatel) The daily operations will be managed by the following team:Andrejs Dambenieks (Operations Manager) is a Electronics Technologist from Fanshaw College. Andrejs has over 30 yrs of experience in the High Tech field between Nortel, BNR and Sanmina SCI. Andrejs experience includes Quality Engineering, Test Yield Analysis, Project Management and NPI (New Product Introduction) Production Manager. Gord Phillips (Technology Manager) a graduate of the Ryerson Polytechnic Institute in Industrial Engineering. Gord has over 25 yrs. of experience between Nortel and Sanmina-SCI. strong SMT and PTH process background with engineering expertise in screen printing, machine placement, reflow, wave soldering, automatic optical inspection, 2D X-ray inspection, compliant pin press insertion, BGA rework, manual assemble, repair and modifications, visual inspection. Bounphieng (Boun) Norasith (Production Manager) has a Masters degree in the Economics of Labour from Russia as well as a graduate from the Precision Assembly Program at Algonquin College. Boun has in excess of 10 yrs. of experience in the High Tech Industry between Nortel and Sanmina-SCI. Boun is our prime BGA rework expert with benchmark skills in this field.
