Doug Malm, Psy D, LPC holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arizona. Doug is the co-owner/founder of Psychotherapy Innovations. He specializes in providing therapy for individuals, couples, and conducts group therapy. His primary focus involves the use of EFT, CBT, EMDR, ACT, DBT, and effective sex therapy protocols. Dr. Malm has over seventeen years experience as an individual, couples, and group therapist. Among his areas of expertise are treating depression, anxiety, social anxiety, codependency, trauma, OCD, emotional disregulation, sexual issues, couples and marital issues, and difficulties coping with stress. Dr. Malm is also interested in helping clients be more effective interpersonally though group therapy. Dr. Malm has received extensive training in sex therapy and EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples) and this training is ongoing. Dr. Malm offers a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they wish to achieve in the manner that best suits them. Julie Espinoza, MA, LPC is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Arizona. Julie is the co-owner/founder of Psychotherapy Innovations. She specializes in adult and adolescent individual therapy and provides additional treatment for couples, family and group therapy. She holds a specialty in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is level two certified for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), has completed core curriculum for sex therapy and receives ongoing training from the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and has also received training in EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples).
