The Nutrition Outreach Working (NOW) Group is a student-led initiative at Western University that offers volunteer opportunities focused on nutrition education and outreach. Working alongside Dr. Janet Madill, PhD, RD, FDC, NOW Group members collaborate with Western University, the Brescia community, London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC), and other local organizations. Our mission is to promote the transmission of knowledge and hands-on skills in four key areas of dietetic practice: clinical nutrition, community nutrition, foodservice management, and research. By bridging academic learning with practical experience, the NOW Group enriches the undergraduate experience for Brescia students pursuing careers in nutrition and dietetics.
