Every era begins with a story, and ours began in 2012, not with a polished plan, but with a restless heart. At 28, Shekhar Bhattacharjee was not the textbook definition of entrepreneurship: a dropout, academically average, a wanderer searching for meaning. But in the cracks of convention, he found light and a dream to build something new. It began almost by accident, as a small media house telling stories of schools and colleges. From that seed grew Great Place To Study in 2014, raising the bar for education benchmarks. Then came Mersion, a global community for cultural and academic exchange by bringing in first rating system based on student satisfaction survey. In 2018, the Dalham Foundation united India’s rising liberal arts & creative schools, later evolving into Dalham Learning to take liberal arts curriculum into colleges. Indic Education emerged as a tool to help teachers become better, and Edstead as a full-stack documentary studio creating impact led stories. Along the way, there were bold moves, a few pauses, few acquisitions, a few failures and always, an unshakable passion. Great minds gathered, structures took shape, and ventures found their rhythm. Today, Noveraa is the home to Edstead, Great Place To Study Asia, The Future Schools, The Winchie, and Winchie+. But Noveraa is not just a name; it is our North Star. A fusion of Nova; a new burst of light and Era; a defining time. It is our shared vision to shape the future of education and storytelling, to craft work that will outlast trends, and to remind the world that big dreams often begin in the smallest, most unlikely places.
