To help destigmatise mental illness, Mindler starts an initiative on World Mental Health Day to encourage people to open up about their résumé gaps instead of hiding them. Participating in the initiative is easy, but takes some guts! You update your résumé on LinkedIn, where you state a period in your life when you didn’t feel at your best. Then you share your new résumé with your network on LinkedIn. By being open, we can all destigmatise the subject so more people dare to talk about mental illness in their professional life.
