Nova Institute Inc. Information

Nova Institute is a private research centre with projects in CleanTech, HealthTech, and AI. Our mission is to develop technology that makes a difference. Our AI group is focused on biometric recognition systems and have developed an automatic fever-screening device that will help Canada return to work safely. Our HealthTech Department is operating a health Canada approved face mask factory, and have developed Canada's first 100% biodegradable disposable face mask that achieves ASTM Level 3. Our CleanTech group is developing motion absorbing kinetic energy harvesting devices for the Canadian Coast Guard to reduce their reliance on fossil fuels.
