Nova Europa is a specialist consultancy which provides bespoke research and analysis of politics in Eastern Europe to private and public sector clients. Its primary aim is to help clients understand how politics, broadly defined, can affect their interests in Central Europe, the Baltic States, the Balkans and parts of the former Soviet Union. Nova Europa is able to take on a wide range of assignments and has built up a strong track record in the following: - Due diligence on the political risks to new investments by Western companies in Eastern Europe - County risk assessments for investors, exporters and contractors, encompassing analysis of political, economic and commercial factors. - Expert analysis of issues and individuals for the legal and insurance industry. - Expert briefings on the implications of current political developments, often for the financial sector - Investigative research on individual members of the political and economic elites in Eastern Europe. The main service which Nova Europa offers is commissioned research and analysis, ranging from a one-page briefing to an extended analysis. In terms of subject matter, Nova Europa can provide analysis of overarching issues such as geopolitical risk; narrower issues such as a country risk, or the nature of a government or interest group; and fine-grained analysis of a single sector, individual or event. Nova Europa also offers two other services: expert briefings and presentations at conferences, seminars and boardroom meetings on topics of interest to clients; and a consultancy service for clients who would like to understand the politics of the region without the need for a written report or participation in a full seminar.
