Nourse Leadership Strategies (NLS) is a Washington, DC and Los Angeles-based coaching and organizational consulting firm focused on helping to develop agile leaders and teams. Since 2001, Dr. Kevin Nourse and his colleagues have worked with organizations in a variety of industry sectors. Kevin Nourse founded Nourse Leadership Strategies in 2001 to provide executive coaching services after a multifaceted career in software development, finance, training, human resources and consulting. Kevin's passion for flying trapeze transformed his perspective on risk-taking and leadership, leading him to the conclusion that starting a business was something he could thrive at. This transformation was realized in Cape Cod in 2001 when Kevin called his boss from a payphone to volunteer to be downsized and fling himself into entrepreneurship. He is an executive coach, organization development consultant, and facilitator with nearly 20 years of progressive experience in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Prior to launching his practice, Kevin was a management consultant and human resource director with Pricewaterhouse Coopers. He is currently on the faculty of the Georgetown University Executive Coaching Certificate program. He is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation and has extensive experience coaching leaders in emotional intelligence, influence, risk-taking, performance management, presentations, and strategic thinking. Kevin's consulting experience includes conducting organizational assessments, change management, competency modeling, learning strategy development, facilitation and team effectiveness. As a trainer, Kevin has delivered training for a wide range of audiences on diversity, career management, team dynamics, influence, risk-taking, strategic thinking, negotiation and transformational leadership.
