Food banking offers a solution to both chronic hunger and the climate crisis. The Global FoodBanking Network works with partners in over 50 countries to recover and redirect food to those who need it. In 2024, our Network provided food to more than 39 million people, reducing food waste and creating healthy, resilient communities. We help the food system function as it should: nourishing people and the planet together.

ABOUT SHARE FOOD PROGRAM Share Food Program is the largest-serving hunger relief organization in the Philadelphia region, and one of the largest independent food banks in the nation. Today, about 22 percent of Philadelphians live in poverty—twice the rate of the national average, and the reason Share Food Program is here. Each month, Share feeds hundreds of thousands individuals—more than half of whom are children and seniors. OUR MISSION Share Food Program leads the fight against food insecurity in the Philadelphia region by serving an expansive, quality partner network of community-based organizations and school districts engaged in food distribution, education, and food justice advocacy. Amazing Grace Food Pantry was started in 2006 to help families in Collin County who would otherwise be forced to make the difficult decision between food and other needs such as medical care, clothing and much more. Through your help and that of community businesses, we have grown to serve over 1600 people per month with over 20,000 lbs of food and other household goods.
